OSC crashes the software

  • Official comment

    Hi everyone,

The OSC crash was caused by a forbidden value type value being sent to HeavyM (here, a string instead of a float/int value). We've changed the behavior from version 2.5.1 so that it doesn't crash in this case (the assignment is simply not taken into account).

Sean Kyte, I saw your ticket regarding a crash but it didn't seem to mention OSC, it was about the Tutorial. Did you have a crash while using OSC? If so, please submit a new request or add details to the one you've already created. Thanks in advance.

    Have a nice day!

Had this same issue today, first time running HeavyM. I had to submit my log. *sigh*
